PREFACE

The intent of this book is to help bring understanding of what God has available to each and every believer in the earth, in the area of Laying on of Hands. The Laying on of Hands is physical contact with one or more hands in someway to another's body. That allows the anointing (God's Power) to flow from you to them; or causing the anointing to rise up in them; an impartation of the anointing. This question and answer book is designed to be read quickly and acted upon. The book can also be reverted to when questions arise. The purpose is to help bring believers into what God has planned in their lives today, "Revival."

Revival is the Power Of God Evident In The Life Of Every Believer, Manifest Destroying The Works Of The Devil. I pray the God of Heaven sanctify you wholly, that your spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
-Amen.

FOREWORD
To the Church of Jesus Christ at large:
I have known Clayton Cuffy, a friend and co-laborer in the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for a numbers of years. He is one of the finest sincere Christian men, an outstanding Bible teacher. It is a great joy to recommend to you Reverend Cuffy's new book entitled "The Laying On Of Hands". As I read this book, I couldn't help but think of all the believers that I know personally who need to read this book. Reverend Cuffy has written a practical Question and Answer book on the "Laying On Of Hands" that will help bring the believer into God's purpose. I believe this work of love will motivate you forward to seek and reach for the things pertaining to the kingdom of God and His righteousness first; then all those other things shall be added unto you, so that you, believer, may be an overcomer all the days of your life, for God's honor and God's glory. I trust that this book will be a tremendous blessing to you.
Love in Jesus,

PART ONE: THE LAYING ON OF HANDS

INTRODUCTION
Instructions For War
Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mark 16:15-l8
Some call this portion of scripture the Great Commission of the church. I like to call this portion of scripture the purpose of the church (The reason we are here). I John 3:8 says Jesus came for a purpose to destroy the works of the Devil. Did Jesus really do that? The answer is "yes" he did. However, Satan and his host are deceiving and misleading people all over the world with only destruction as his intent. Jesus, before he went to set at the right hand of God, gave us instructions for war and these are our instructions:
1. Go into all the world.
2. Preach the gospel to every creature.
3. Cast out devils in my name.
4. Lead people in the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
5. Lay hands on the sick.
We realize that Satan and his host are behind human suffering spiritually, mentally, financially, and physically. So Jesus has commissioned us the believers to take his word and set them free. The Bible also tells us about the necessities to fight and win. After we have put on the armor of God, we are to go into all the world and destroy the works of the devil in people's lives.
THE FOUNDATION
He that hath my commandments and keeps them; he it is who loves me. And he that loves me shall be loved of my Father and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.
If a man loves me, he will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him.
John 14:21,23
In Christ Jesus, love has to be the foundation of all we do. If we love God then we will do what he says. By doing what God tells us to do we are showing our love for him and his love to others. For God is love and he wants humanity to be set free from demonic influence because he loves us.
God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
Love gives. Remember love always gives and we are giving his love to those who are in need by giving them the word of God.
We are going to be talking about the laying on of hands based on God's word. I believe the Bible and it lets us know that there is something special about man's hands. God wants your hands to work for the kingdom!
LAYING ON OF HANDS: A CHURCH DOCTRINE
Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ let us go on unto perfection; Not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith towards God
Of the doctrine of baptisms and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Hebrews 6:1,2
When you look at houses, churches, schools or hotel buildings what do you see? A completed structure, the finished product, the end result. Have you ever wondered how that building was built, or where did the constructor start to build it? When a building of any size is built, it always starts from the ground up. It starts with the foundation.
The principles in Hebrews chapter 6 verse 1 and 2 are part, but not all of the Christian foundation for life. These principles are the things we build our lives upon. In other words they are necessary in the make-up of the sound Christian life style. There are six principles or doctrines mentioned in Hebrews chapter 6, and we are going to focus on the laying on of hands.
