The Bible is clear about God’s eternal power and Godhead. God has revealed his eternal power through the universe, which is an eternal creation. He has also revealed his eternal Godhead through Jesus Christ. There are four reasons for believing in God’s existence:1. The universe2. Jesus Christ3. Reason4. The witness of the Holy SpiritThe universe is an eternal creation. It is without beginning and without end, just like God himself. Scientists have discovered this fact by using the tools of science: observation, experimentation, and hypothesis testing. Next, consider Jesus Christ. He is God’s only begotten Son and the second person of the Trinity. Jesus is the second greatest reason to believe in God’s existence, just behind His divine nature. Reason points to God. Reason provides the most powerful evidence of God’s existence because it leads directly to God and it cannot be refuted by human reasoning. The witness of the Holy Spirit is similarly another reason to believe in God, but for a different reason. -> There are four reasons to believe in God’s existence: the universe, Jesus Christ, reason, and the witness of the Holy Spirit.
