Description

Four Towers is a thrilling tale of good versus evil. It is second and final book from the series called Zondon Alliance and the Order of Inquisition.

As Zondon was attacked over and over by the forces of evil, Attorand came back from retirement, and he disclosed the secret about who is behind the evil, and how to overcome the forces of darkness. Yet these evil forces had prepared the last show of force, and had invaded Zondon in an apocalyptic way. It was like the Armageddon, and only a strike of luck could save Dmitry and his armies. And that luck came through Attorand, who ultimately uses two weapons, so he could save Zondon and its people. The book is also packed with funny situations.

CHAPTER ONE

RERVOLUTION SQUARE AND THE NATIONAL ECONOMY ACHIEVEMENTS EXHIBITION (NEAE)

By spring, the war between the Zondon Alliance and the Order of Inquisition had ended. Glurt, Azar, as well as the leaders of the Order of Earth , the Order of Water , and the Order of Air have all lost in the end. These orders were disbanded. And the Order of Inquisition had ceased to exist. Zondon Alliance had also continued to grow. And at this time it was made up of ten orders. It included Zondon , West Zondon , North Inquisition , South Inquisition , and East Inquisition , the Order of Fire , the Order of Earth , the Order of Water and the Order of Air . Dmitry was in command. Everything would’ve been well, if not for the new attack of the un-dead, which have managed to rise from the graves before the Order of Inquisition was disbanded. In fact Zondon couldn’t figure out all the mysteries, and so the adventures went on. Meanwhile Artborg, Kate, Kelly, Hezzord, Mennon, Griff and Miel walked through the big castle of the West Inquisition in the Moscow region, where at this time Tabor was the leader. Glurt wasn’t even aware of what happened.
“It’s great that Zondon Alliance comes into being again. Our country is united once more,” said Artborg.
“It’s really cool that the war is over. There are no differences between the two orders,” Kate agreed.
“We feel at home inside the Castle of the West Inquisition for the first time, and it's great,” said Kelly.
“It's all due to the fact that Galitta, Gamma and Ditta gave their lives, so we could be here at the West Inquisition’s Castle. May the three of them rest in peace,” Hezzord reminded everyone who was buried there.
“From now on, we are not afraid of anyone. This is an entirely different situation. If we only were able to get rid of the un-dead, then the war would end. And we would have unravelled all the mysteries,” announced Mennon.
“The Order of Inquisition no longer exists as an organization. Nor is it guiding the other Orders. And this is an important thing,” said Griff.
“The worst is behind us, and the end is soon to be seen,” Miel gave his opinion.
“During the winter there were huge changes around us. We are now living in another world,” Artborg reminded them.
“It’s a pity that we still don’t know the truth, about the tragic loss of our friend Selen,” said Griff.
“Yeah, we still don’t know who is behind all this,” said Miel while standing.
“And this, after we’ve won twice against the armies of the dead. We also put an end to the Order of Inquisition and the Order of Elements ,” said Artborg.
“It doesn’t happen by chance. Someone is behind all these. We must stop these evil forces,” Mennon has assured the others.
“Evil spirits… it is the worst misfortune that befell on us. If we can defeat this attack, the world will be as beautiful as ever,” said Griff.
“In the past, we have defeated not only the un-dead. This is the last obstacle on the path to a brighter future,” said Miel.
“Artborg! Kate! Kelly! Hezzord! Mennon! Grif! Miel! I was looking for you everywhere. It’s so nice that I’ve finally found you,” said John, the young American, after finding his old friends.
“What happened, John? Do you have something to tell us,” asked Artborg.
“I just come from Tabor. He said he has an urgent task for you,” said John.
“What happened? I hope it isn’t something evil again, who attacked the people. Then it will be the fifth such mission in a week,” said Kate.
“All the furniture inside the people’s homes is being wrecked. And what is much worse is that with each passing day, everything is getting out of control. I’m telling you John, we shouldn’t send in the soldiers to fix this problem. If these occurrences don’t end this summer, we may have to assign you to fix this problem,” said Artborg.
“Come on. Tell me what happened,” said Kelly.
“At a Subway Station, at the Revolution Square, there had been committed a terrible crime. Evildoer wizards had put spells on monuments at this station. And now everyone who travels through this station is being terrorized,” said John telling them the true story.
“So why didn’t you say so earlier? We need to act at once,” concluded Hezzord.
“ I can’t help you now. But I wish you good luck with this job,” said John.
“ Thank you for telling us about this job. We need to act fast,” said Mennon.
“Just go outside the Castle of the West Inquisition . It won’t take much of your time,” said John.
“We know this. It’s great that we can do this again. Autumn without nothing to do, almost throws us out of balance,” confessed Griff.
“We have prepared some vehicles for you. We’ve left them near the gate of the main house,” John told his mates.
“Thank you very much. Well, we should go now,” Miel, said to him, as a goodbye. She was from the UK.
They had quickly found the car, which was left parked for them. Our friends had left the castle of the West Inquisition. They drove the car to the Revolution Square Subway Station , a place, which was in complete chaos. After parking their cars, our heroes went into the subway and immediately began to work. They had hardly noticed a huge cast bronze-statue tormenting their victims. And it attacked our heroes. As a result, our heroes got into a fight. Some of the statues were armed with pistols and rifles, and they immediately put up a fierce resistance.
“Watch out,” called Artborg, taking cover behind one of the columns.
“They’re coming straight at us. I don’t know what to do,” said Kate, and she threw a grenade.
”There are seventy-six statues at this subway station, eighteen of which had multiplied four times, and two statues had multiplied two times. So this battle will be long,” Kelly told them a little about this station.
“Watch out! A dog is coming at you,” called Hezzord, drawing attention to the fact that the statue that stood guard, had released a huge dog. It attacked Menon.
“Help me,” said Mennon, who fell to the floor, and he continued to struggle with a bronze dog, which was bigger than him.
“Take that,” said Grief, who came to his friend’s aid, and he shot the dog in the head.
“We still haven’t won, against more than one statue. We’ve finished only one dog,” complained Miel.
“Yeah, but this statue of a Soldier of the Revolution , with a grenade in its hand, irritates me more than anything. I did what I could, to abstain not to punch it in the face,” complained Artborg.
“It’s not like I can’t cope with the Statue of a Sailor , which has a revolver,” announced Kate. “Ah,” yelled Kelly, after a bullet whizzed so close to her head, being fired by a Statue of a Girl .
“Next time be more careful,” Hezzord warned her, while he almost missed a Statue of a Peasant , which was getting so close to them.
“We can’t fight all these statues. We have to change our plan of action,” said Mennon.
“Well, we don’t have time for that now,” said Hezzord, lowering his head from his neck, while the next second a piece of the wall next to him crashed, knocking him down.
“Oh, how could we cope with all this bad luck,” said Miel, who rushed to Grief’s aid.
Suddenly there was a statue of a parachutist under their noses, which started smashing everything in its path. But to make things even worse, a statue of a sailor signalman came to its help.
“This will show us trice, what these statues are capable of,” said Artborg after the two statues coming at them, were joined by yet another statue of the famous miner, Stakhanov, with a jackhammer.
“Let’s ran back to the top floor, because we can’t cope with all these statues,” said Kate.
“That’s a good idea,” said Kelly, heading towards the top floor. But soon she had to stop due to the fact that the escalator wasn’t working.
“We’re trapped. And until we destroy all these statues, we won’t be able to get out of here,” said Kate.
“Just look at these statues of hens and roosters . They don’t give me one minute rest,” complained Mennon.
“The attendant had released all these statues of animals, which are overly obsessed with me,” continued Mennon.
“This statue of an engineer is pointing at me its drafting compass. And I’m trapped,” said Kate.
“You just think that you are cornered. But it has stabbed me in my arm, and it hurts,” said Artborg and he showed his wounded arm to all his mates.
“Oh, no! Another statue walked from its socket. Its broken sword flies near the ceiling of the subway station,” said Kelly
“Look! There’s a statue of a student with his book coming towards us. And the entire subway station is shaking,” said Kate.
“The statues will test us to the limits, because they outnumber us,” said Kelly.
“Don’t you think it was a plan to breathe life into all those statues? Whoever did this knew that these statues would cause a lot of problems,” said Kate.
