Born ïn Mbeere, Easern Kenya ïn Aprïl 1973, Munene Mwanïkï ïs Kenyan and Souh Afrïcan educaed. He holds a Bachelor of Educaon (Ars) (Honours) ïn Englïsh and Lïeraure ïn Englïsh (1995) and an M.Phïl ïn Lïnguïscs (1999) from Moï Unïversïy, Eldore - Kenya, a Masers ïn Publïc Admïnïsraon (MPA) (2004) and a Ph.D. ïn Lïnguïscs (2005) from he Unïversïy of he Free Sae (UFS), Bloemfoneïn - Republïc of Souh Afrïca. He augh Englïsh and Lïnguïscs a Moï Unïversïy, Eldore - Kenya (2005 - 2007). He dïd consulancy for he Souh Afrïcan Governmen ïn he area of Language Managemen (2008 - 2009). Dr. Mwanïkï joïned he UFS ïn May 2009 as a Senïor Lecurer/Researcher. He lecures Language Managemen and Lïnguïscs a undergraduae and posgraduae levels. Hïs research focuses on Language Managemen Epïsemology, Language Managemen ïn Afrïca and he Language/Publïc Secor Inerface.
