SYHA Activity Holidays Kintail & Affric Classic Ridges Central Reservations (Grade 4) 08701 553255 A must for the fit connoisseur, the aim of the week is to visit some of the magical ridges of the West.  What a choice from South Cluanie, Five Sisters, Sgurr nan Ceathreamhan, Mam Sodhail, Beinn Attow, A’Ghlas Bheinn, the Saddle. By heading into the wonderfully remote Glen Affric hostel, we can truly explore the wild mountain country. This holiday includes walking into Glen Affric so on a couple of days you will be carrying a heavier rucksack so be warned!  MEETING PLACE:    Stirling Train Station  at 12:00.    DAILY ITINERARY: Day 1: Meet at Stirling and head for Ratagan hostel where we stay for 3 nights. In the evening there will be a short briefing about the week .  Day 2:   Explore a couple of the Kintail Ridges: South Cluanie Ridge, Five Sisters, The Saddle.  Evening of Day 3:  get our gear ready for heading into Glen Affric tomorrow. You’ll be carrying a larger and heavier rucksack today with all your gear for Affric.   Day 4: Walk into Glen Affric Hostel, hopefully with time to nip up A’Ghlas Bheinn on the way.   Day 5:  Explore a Affric Ridges: Sgurr nan Ceathreamhan, Mam Sodhail. Evening of Day 6, get our gear ready for heading and 6:  back to Ratagan tomorrow.  Day 7: Head out of Glen Affric, hopefully with time to explore Beinn Attow for our final high hill.   You’ll be carrying your gear out of Affric.  Day 8 ...
