The importance of spending time with the Father
For the true believer it is of utmost importance to spend time with our Father. Spending time with God allows one to experience moments that one may rarely encounter. In God’s presence we are changed for the better and only He gets the glory. “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11 ESV).
The Christian lifestyle is based upon a relationship with our Father through his only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ. The more hours and days spent with him develops a solid relationship that are built on a firm foundation. As Christians one must be intentional about the way one manages one’s time. The same way we invest time with our loved ones, friends, and acquaintances, is the same way we get to know God better.
When we stay focused and keep our mind on him, he promises to keep us in perfect peace. Having a heart for God will allow one to understand the purpose and plan that He has for one’s life. It is imperative for the Christian to understand that the sole purpose of spending time with the Father is to get to know him. Knowing God intimately makes way for the believer to conform to his image.
The garden is a significant place to meet God. It was the first place that he placed humankind to develop. In my father’s garden there is a tone to re-establish an atmosphere for a connection or a reconnection with God. The garden of Eden was to be an earthly paradise occupied by humankind. God desires that same relationship with the modern-day Christian. “Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25 ESV).

Seeking God through prayer
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence” (Psalm 91:1-3 ESV).
Daily as Christians we should seek God through prayer and let our petitions be known unto Him. When we live a life that is submitted to the Lordship of Christ, He takes care of us. Although, we may have trials and tests that we may have to overcome in our lives. We must believe that God wants the absolute best for His children.
Prayer is communication with God. When we pray, we have a connection to our Father. This is an important asset for the believer because we know that God hear us when we pray. The benefits of prayer are many. The power of prayer by faith help to realign one’s spiritual walk with God. Prayer is the way that the believer spend time with God. What better way to come to understand the heart of God but by prayer.
When we pray, we not only grow in our relationship with God. We also use this time to invite God into our lives for direction and help. Prayer is the key and faith unlocks the door. The result is clarity for pressing moments.
Prayer
Lord, please hear our humble cry. Lead us on a perfect path and help us to find strength through your word. As we continue to fellowship with you may we continue to fulfill the purpose and the plan that you have for our life. In Jesus’s name Amen.

Responsibility of the believer
“Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech, which cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us” (Titus 2:7-8 ESV).
As Christian believer’s it is our responsibility to represent the kingdom well. We believe the Bible to be the infallible word of God. There is no way that we can separate God from His word and truth continue to remain. The word of God reveals the only way for one to receive salvation. God is the creator of all things, and he has a purpose and a plan for humankind.
The Bible also reveals that we have a worthy adversary, and this adversary does not want the truth of God to be revealed in His people. It is imperative for us to share the good news of the gospel intact. For others to live an acceptable and victorious life in Christ.
Living in this era we will experience many different events that may shake one’s faith and bring fear. We are reminded that we have God’s spirit living on the inside, empowering us to be able to stand. God will keep those who desire to be kept. Remember in the end we won!
Prayer
Lord, thank you for empowering us with your Spirit. We desire to live a life that is pleasing to you. Help us to represent your kingdom well. You have called us to be a peculiar people an epistle read amongst men.
